Principles of Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, Incorporated (KR, Inc.) is a Scientific Foundation incorporated in the state of Massachusetts of the United States of America concerned with fostering research and communication on knowledge representation and reasoning.

Its primary activities include organizing a series of prestigous conferences, the Conferences on Principles of Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, cooperating with workshops on related topics, and maintaining informational materials on the World Wide Web, and maintaining KR-related mailing lists.

KR2010 was a tremendous success and we are now organizing KR2012 the 13th International Conference on the Principles of Knowledge Representation and Reasoning which will be held in Rome.

The Conference Chair of KR2012 is Gerhard Brewka; the Program Chairs are Thomas Eiter and Sheila McIlraith; the Local Arrangements Chairs are Guisseppe De Giacomo, Marco Shaerf; and the Publicity Chairs are Benjamin Johnston and Mary-Anne Williams.

KR2012 brings the KR conference to one of its most vibrant scientific spiritual homes in Europe and promises to be one of the most exciting KR conferences ever! We look forward to welcoming you to Rome June 10 - 14, 2012.
